Zola from neglected WordPress
A friend's neglected WordPress website stopped working. I ripped the content and re-created it as a static site with Zola.

Create and deploy
Writing and deploying content, two asynchronous loops. Almost like cycling on a bike. By pedaling, the rear-wheel rotates and the front wheel is pushed forward.

My Working with images
While using the Volks-Typo theme I noticed the new component structure, introduced in Zola v0.23.0, also affected the built-in function `resize_images` use of images.

What to expect
Tao of IT
Not "the" way but my way of exploring IT-technology. Making mistakes along the way and not hiding it. It's a learning path too.
Tao of AI
I use AI as a tool and sometimes as companion to solve technical- and non-technical problems. Unless specified AI is not used for generating content.
Open Source
"Sharing is caring" appreciate the ideas and inspiration you get from reading my posts or using my software. Appreciate it either by referencing the source or in any other way.
Open Mind
I try to keep an open mind but there will be opininions. Please remember there is no intent to offend anyone personal.
Constructivist Grid
8-point grid system creates structural order. Blood-red rules command attention.
Fast Performance
Zero JavaScript, minimal CSS, self-hosted fonts for blazing speed.
Volks-Typo
Volks-Typo is the theme used for this site. Borrowed from the Astro theme rewritten for Zola.
MONUMENTAL TYPE
Bauhaus-inspired body text in Inter creates perfect readability. Function meets form in every letterform, optimized for modern screens.
Hero-images were added to the original theme because images are way more sticky to the mind than just words.
